An exciting new Christmas menu, featuring a mouthwatering Greggs Benedict, a Full English, as well as fancy tea and cake, has been crafted to add a little extra magic this festive season.

The delightful new options, which will be served by waiters, have been dubbed "enhanced interpretations" of the already popular menu, and would “elevate Bistro Greggs into one of the hottest new restaurant openings this Christmas”.

Customers will be presented their food under posh silver cloches and servers are set to wear Bistro Greggs aprons, white shirts and black ties.

The menu includes a range of breakfast and lunch options, including a Full English with Greggs’ iconic sausage roll, bacon, mushroom, tomato, baked beans and a choice of eggs.

A High Tea sharing option for two people is also set to impress, including peach melba and yum yum bites with chocolate sauce and banana, a Greggs croissant, pain au chocolat and a sausage roll with sausage, bean and cheese melt.

For lunch, hungry Brits might want to sample Greggs incredibly popular festive bake with duck-fat roasties, smoked pancetta, chestnuts and sprouts.

Meanwhile, their legendary steak bake will be served alongside dauphinoise potatoes, green beans and almonds.

This will be an upgraded Greggs sausage, bean and cheese melt - with smoked ham, poached Cacklebean eggs and hollandaise sauce instead.

This festive treat is due to launch on Friday, December 1 but fans will have to hurry to get a table as the offer is only running until New Year's Eve.

It is opening thanks to a partnership between the fast food giant and Fenwick.

Greggs customer director Hannah Squirrell said: “The launch of Bistro Greggs marks a watershed moment as we take our first step with Fenwick into classic French-inspired fine dining.

"Showcasing popular favourites across our menu, we’ve created an accessible menu featuring eloquent dishes with a Parisian twist, elevated through Fenwick’s gastronomic excellence and expertise.”

Leo Fenwick, strategic partnerships director at Fenwick, added: “Fenwick and Greggs are two brands at the heart of the local community with a commitment to doing good and we are thrilled to be partnering with a much-loved brand, bringing a unique and delicious twist to the everyday Greggs experience at Fenwick.”

This comes as Greggs fans shared a clever hack to warm sausage rolls and pies in their cars - and said it "works like a charm every time".

Meanwhile the chain recently opened its first ever branch in a major supermarket - and it's not Tesco.
