Spotify Wrapped 2023 updates — Taylor Swift dominates but fans struggle to access new features – how to get yours now
SPOTIFY Wrapped 2023 is finally here as millions wait to see their music stats for the year.
First launched in 2016, Spotify Wrapped collects all your music, podcast and audiobook statistics for the year and presents them in a format you can share with friends.
While the annual music event is not showing on the app yet, it can be found by searching Spotify Wrapped 2023 on Google and signing into the platform.
Every year millions of users wait to see who their top artist is and if they listened to more music than their friends.
In 2023 Taylor Swift dominated the charts becoming the most streamed artist achieving 26.1 billion global streams.

Why hasn't my Spotify Wrapped appeared yet?
Spotify Wrapped was released at 8 am on November 29, 2023, however, some users are having problems accessing the roundup.
This could be because the app is not updated to the latest version.
In order for Spotify Wrapped to appear, the app has to be updated to at least the 8.7 version.
How to see your Spotify Wrapped 2023
Listeners can view their 2023 Spotify Wrapped on either a computer desktop or the Spotify app.
Desktop
The desktop steps include:
- Go to Spotify.com/wrapped
- Select the button that says "Click Here For Your 2023 Wrapped"
- Log in with your Spotify account
Most streamed UK songs revealed
Music lovers across the UK were all over “Sprinter” from Dave and Central Cee leading it to being crowned the most streamed song in the UK in 2023.
Female artists round out the top five with Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers” coming in second.
This is closely followed by SZA’s “Kill Bill” in third.
PinkPantheress’s “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” placed fourth whilst RAYE’s “Escapism.” feat. 070 Shake finished the year in the fifth spot.
Fans will hear from their favourites
This year, Spotify listeners will also get to hear from one of their top artists directly within your personalised Wrapped via Your Artist Messages. Y
ou can then visit the Wrapped feed for video messages from thousands of artists including Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, NewJeans, SZA, KAROL G, Jung Kook and more.

Swifties dominated Spotify this year making Taylor Swift the most streamed artist in the UK.
The top five artists were:

- The Weekend
- Artic Monkeys
- Ed Sheeran

The popular Spotify Wrapped perk should be available on iOS and Android now.
If it's available on your smartphone, you will see a Wrapped button listed along the top - you might have to slide to find it.
For those who still don't see it, Spotify says check whether your app is up to date.

Which character describes you?
This year's Spotify Wrapped includes a feature known as Listening Characters.
The experience reveals one of 12 listening characters that best describes the way you listened on Spotify this year.
These can include the "Shapeshifter" ( which apparently means you’re quick to move from one artist to the next), the "Luminary" (you play light, upbeat music more than others) and the "Alchemist" (you create your own playlists more than others do).
There's also Sound Town which matches your music tastes with a city.
This year's Wrapped features special thank you's from artists
If your Spotify Wrapped has arrived you'll know this year's edition includes a special treat.
Each user will get a special thank you from their top listened-to artists.

Is Spotify Wrapped for premium only?
Spotify Wrapped is available to both free and premium users.
However, premium subscribers get extra data to generate into cards.
How can I find Spotify Wrapped?
When it's ready, Spotify Wrapped usually appears as soon as you open the app.
In previous years, the feature has gradually rolled out to people, for example, mine is already showing.
Therefore yours might not be ready at the same time as your mates - so hang in there, it'll appear soon enough.

Spotify Wrapped is just hours, or even minutes, away, with the iconic tailored music experience set to launch today or tomorrow.
Once it's launched, you can find it by heading over to the Spotify app, or searching Spotify Wrapped 2023 on Google.
