I'M A Celeb's Nigel Farage panics and tells Ant and Dec 'I can't do this' during tonight's Bushtucker Trial.

Last night viewers found out that the controversial politician and Hollyoaks' Nick Pickard will be the famous faces taking part in the In Too Deep Trial.

This evening the pair will have to try and get as many stars for their fellow campmates by submerging themselves under water to unscrew the stars.

In a clip from tonight's show, Nigel looks like he's struggling with the task.

As he takes a huge breath and goes underwater, he quickly returns to the surface without a star.

The former UKIP leader shakes his head and says to himself: "I can't do this."

The camera pans back and Ant and Dec, and Ant says: "He's shaking his head... It's tricky."

Dec adds: "He's finding it hard to get down there!"

After returning to the surface for the second time, Dec tells him: "Maybe use the ladder to help you down."

Meanwhile, Nick is trying his best next to him and shouts some support over to him.

Nigel lowers himself once again with the spanner to try and unscrew the star... but quickly returns back up for some air.

Trying to keep the morale up, Ant says: "That was better Nige! Keep going."

When Ant and Dec delivered the news to camp about who was going to do the Trial, Nella Rose was nowhere to be seen.

The pair told viewers she was being seen by medics at the time, which left some fans thought seemed a little suspicious.

A source said: “It was unfortunate timing that Nella had to be taken out of camp just before the live scenes.

“She had to be seen by the team with a physical, medical emergency but it was dealt with swiftly.

“Nella has had a rough time so far but she is a tough cookie and will be back smiling and laughing with the other campmates in no time - this wasn’t anything to do with her mental health.”

Last night Dec told those watching at home: "Now, unfortunately, Nella is being seen by the medic so she'll be back later, but it means she's now exempt from this trial.

"So let's go in there and see who will be doing it."
