Will doesn’t understand why his micro-cheating is a problem
DEAR DEIDRE: YOU have made it clear you’re not happy to accept micro-cheating, so now the ball is in his court.
Is he going to continue to pretend this doesn’t matter and further jeopardise your future, or is he going to wake up and appreciate this is a red line?
Micro-cheating, when a partner’s actions makes the other question their commitment, slowly eats away at any trust.
He might not have even touched this other woman, but his attention is certainly not on you.
Explain how hurt you feel and make it clear that if he can’t understand, apologise and change his ways, you won’t be sticking around.
Hopefully this will be a wake-up call.
