My wife looks more like 77 than 47 and I am losing interest
DEAR DEIDRE: MY wife is 47 going on 77.
She used to be really good fun and I fancied the pants off her, but now looks more like a granny, than a yummy mummy.
I’m 48 and haven’t felt attracted to her for a long time.
She is going through the menopause and while it hasn’t completely stopped our sex life, she’s become very inhibited.
She used to make an effort when we went out for dinner and wore high heels, stockings and suspenders for me.
Now it’s just shapeless dresses, flats and woolly tights. What can I do?

While you can’t make her wear clothes she isn’t comfortable in, you can help her feel more confident.
Tell her how much you miss seeing her dressed up and ask her to do this every now and again.
