Omid Scobie's book Endgame revelations
COMING FOR KATE

Omid Scobie shamelessly reveals Princess Kate’s ‘secret’ nickname as he launches scathing attack on future Queen

Scobie claims it was Meghan Markle who became the 'new Diana'

OMID Scobie has lashed out at Kate Middleton in his new book, claiming she “shivers” at the mere mention of Meghan Markle’s name.

His book Endgame, which has already been published in Australia, also reveals a nasty nickname given to the Princess of Wales, 41.

Scobie, who is often described as the “Meghan's mouthpiece” for Prince Harry and Meghan, claims Kate hasn’t spoken to Meghan since 2019 in his explosive book.

In a scathing chapter in the book, he claims Kate never had any interest in being friends with her sister-in-law and said the future Queen was a Stepford-like royal wife.

He also claims she is “cold” and ignored Meghan’s “cries for help” even though she advocates for better mental health.

Kate is said to have earned the nickname “Katie Keen” among palace staff, according to the author of Finding Freedom, because the palace press office hides her reportedly lower workload by saying she is “keen to learn”.

The new book also claims she “does not plan to increase her workload for 10-15 years” until her children are grown.

According to Scobie, Queen Elizabeth II liked her because she was “coachable,” in sharp contrast to the “strong-minded” Princess Diana.

Scobie writes: "The late Queen, too, would take off blocks of time throughout the year to recharge, but she was also known to carry out at least three hundred engagements annually.

“Sources said Kate remains 'laser focused' on her duty to the family first, and then the Crown.

"Where other senior royals are out and about several times a week, meeting people across the length and breadth of the country, Kate has long maintained a smaller work schedule that helped her check off the required royal boxes while saving time for her roles as a mother and a wife."

In contrast, Scobie sees Meghan’s work during the short time she was a working royal as being “far less about fashion choices and more about her work or her role in the Firm”.

To Scobie’s mind, it was Meghan who was the “star of the show” becoming the “new Diana” once she was married to the Duke of Sussex.

It was Harry and Meghan who showed the world “how to be a modern royal,” according to the book, making the Cambridges “look a little dull”.

While Scobie says the sisters-in-law had “nothing in common” they “could have made things work in those early days if there was peace between the warring Windsor siblings”.

Meghan is said to have found her time in the royal household as being “lonely and isolated” and had hoped Kate would be someone she could turn to for a kind word, as they “were once both outsiders, middle-class women brought into the House of Windsor for unimaginably different lives”.

But Kate, so Scobie claims, was “uninterested in forming this kind of bond” because “she can be cold if she doesn't like someone” and “wasn't a fan of Meghan”.

According to one source, Kate “spent more time talking about Meghan than to her”.

Scobie claims that Kate “watched on in silence” as stories were published about Meghan making her cry, and that she now “shivers” when her name is brought up.

He also claims the pair haven’t spoken since 2019 except for “a few pleasantries”.

Scobie has already been labelled as "disgraceful" by one royal expert for his attack on Kate.

Royal author Robert Jobson told Femail: "I admire his gumption, but his latest broadside attack on The Princess of Wales is unwarranted - and worse than unfair.

"It is a complete character assassination of a woman who has done nothing but try to serve her queen and now her King and country. And she's done it very well.

"The Princess has devoted herself to duty, to looking after her husband and looking after her young family. She should be looked up to, not denigrated."

The latest alleged revelations come as it was shown Scobie's book is littered with errors and conspiracy theories.

Chief among them is its claim Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 because her driver was blinded by a “major white flash” from a chasing photographer’s camera.

Earlier this month, Harry and Meghan distanced themselves from the book, according to insiders.

He claimed the brothers' relationship was "beyond repair", with Wills viewing his brother as a "defector".

The author says there's "no going back" for the brothers and "absolutely nothing has changed" in their relationship since the release of Harry's memoir Spare earlier this year.

Meanwhile, pals of Wills have slammed "outrageous" claims made in the book, which say the future king tried to undermine his brother and Meghan.

The book also says Charles did not try to fix his relationship with Harry after Megxit — even though Harry was invited to his Coronation.
