I’ve followed Royal Family for 40 years – Omid Scobie has no idea about their life in UK and I won’t be buying his book

Scobie also claims Princess Kate is a part-time royal so nervous on engagements all she can do is smile

MEGHAN’S mouthpiece Omid Scobie’s book Endgame may sell well – especially in the USA – but I won’t be buying it.

I don’t want to read any more of his fanciful allegations about the monarchy.

Like the Royal Family is in crisis.

Wrong. I have followed them for more than 40 years and they have never been stronger.

We have a King and Queen working tirelessly for the nation at a time when most people their age are putting their feet up.

On Friday, the 75-year-old King will travel to the Middle East to address COP28 in Dubai in his on-going campaign on the environment.

William and Catherine have assumed the role of Prince and Princess of Wales with gusto and are doing their very best to make a difference.

The King knows he is holding the fort until the day William and Kate come to the throne – and the future is their family.

Scobie now lives in California, quite close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and has no idea of the royals’ life in the UK.

He claims Catherine and Meghan were told to dress like Princess Di, so the Diana magic would rub off.

What nonsense! Kate is a trendsetter in fashion and a star in her own right.

The reason she gets in the papers is because she is a beautiful woman working for the Royal Family.

Scobie claims Kate is a part-time royal so nervous on engagements all she can do is smile.

She smiles because she is happy in her role, doing her best to support the King and the institution.

A BBC documentary about the King will be shown at Christmas.

If you want the truth about what the Royal Family is really like without the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, it will be there for all to see.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that King Charles will not utter one word of criticism of his youngest son and his wife Meghan.
