DRIVERS have discovered a word written on their door is actually a hidden button which unlocks the "coolest feature" ever.

A cars expert took to TikTok to share with motorists the secret features inside the electric Volkswagen ID.4.

The EV boasts 317 miles of range powered by a 77kWh battery - which can reach up to 99mph.

But the £46,030 car includes other features drivers might be unaware of.

Luckily, a cars enthusiast from CarBuzz has listed the use behind all the buttons inside the vehicle.

On the video he showed a hidden button on the interior of the driver front door that can control the windows.

He said: "You have two window controls. Those control the front ones and if you want to lower the rear ones you can just press the button that says 'rear'."

On pressing the button, you can control the rear windows of your car by pressing up and down.

But the "cool features" don't end here.

The Tiktoker revealed a genius way to change the colour of your touch screen.

He said: "You have this really big 12 inch touch screen where you can actually change the colour using this awesome themes."

You can also control the sunroof and by just swiping the buttons inside the EV.

The content creator added: "All of the buttons down here are touch capacity meaning you swipe your finger across them to use.

"Even the sunroof feature you can swipe your finger across to open. Just look how massive this piece of glass is on the roof."

It comes as drivers discovered a new "favourite" button with a handy function hidden behind their steering wheel.

Bronson Gregory, who works for a major car brand in Lehi, Utah, revealed some useful tips to keep your motor in top shape as the weather turns colder.

Meanwhile, a TikTok car enthusiast who goes by Carwow has shown his subscribers what happens when you press Audi's RS mode button.

According to Audi, this new feature is "intuitive like a smartphone".

Elsewhere, drivers are thinking twice about selling their cars after discovering a "hidden" button which makes engines more powerful.
