Winter sun destinations where temperatures still hit 25C in December

WE have rounded up the best last-minute holiday deals to combat the winter blues, starting from £117pp.

All the holidays have departure within the next two weeks - so they're perfect for a pre-Christmas madness getaway.

The deals come from holiday companies like Jet2holidays, TUI and loveholidays, and they're all under £300pp.

There's something for every budget, too, as the holidays are available on different board basis.

When it comes to destinations, you can choose between Egypt, Tunisia, Portugal, Spain and Malta.

Egypt and Tunisia are still hitting 25C, while Portugal, Spain and Malta are in the low 20s - but temperatures shouldn't drop below 18C.

If you don't have a set destination in mind and want to go where the cheapest deal is, your best bet will be self-catered stays.

The biggest bargain we've found is in Algarve, Portugal, costing from £117pp.

The deal includes seven-night stays at Studio 17 by Atlantic Hotels on a self-catering basis.
