I found out my boyfriend was cheating when he was mid-proposal, I was watched by a stadium full of people as it happened
A LOVESTRUCK woman was delivered the shock of a lifetime when her boyfriend proposed to her.
But the biggest surprise wasn't the ring.
TikToker Tiffany Lyn (@tiffanylyynn) recounted how she discovered that her fiancé was cheating on her right in the middle of his proposal.
“Like literally as it was happening,” she said in the clip.
“I was madly in love with this man. Like literally, head over heels, I would do whatever he said. If he said 'jump,' I would say 'how high?'”
The pair had been together for around two years when he popped the question.
“The fact that he was even proposing to me was a shock because even though I was madly in love with him, I didn’t quite feel that we were ready for it.”
That all changed when one day, he decided to take her to the amusement parks in Orlando for some good old fun.
“Once we got to the amusement parks, he decides to sign up to be a contestant on one of the competition game performances that they had at this theme park.”
Right before the show began, he handed her his phone so that she could record him while he competed in the game.

And while the woman thought her dream moment was happening in front of her eyes, she was quickly proven wrong.
The competition game show ensued, and her boyfriend ended up winning the whole thing – with her capturing it all on his phone.
“Here I am with his little cell phone filming, all excited and proud of my man, when he starts to receive text messages that are popping up on the screen.
“The text messages turned out to be from his mistress that he’s been messing with the whole time we’ve been together.”
The married mistress was apparently sending angry texts to him because he had just recently told her that they needed to end their fling because he was going to propose to his girlfriend.
“At this point my heart absolutely drops and I want to vomit, and I’m sitting here in a crowd with hundreds of people, maybe thousands.
“I’m trying to keep my hands steady as I film what’s happening, as he’s proposing and announcing it to this whole freaking stadium full of people, but I really know what’s happening as I’m seeing these texts fly across the screen.”
Tiffany labeled it a “trauma” and had to take deep breaths as she recounted what happened.
Still, she said she doesn’t like others to see her sweat.
“I keep it cool, I just smile and pretend that I’m the most elated, happiest woman on the planet.”
The crowd, who just witnessed the proposal on the big screen, went wild, cheering her on.
“I somehow manage to keep my composure and just walk outside of the stadium and wait for him outside.”
The man, clueless to what his fiancé just discovered, gave her a huge hug, told her how much he loved her, and proposed again to her face.
“There are so many people watching because remember we’re in the middle of a theme park with thousands of people.
“So, I quickly grab him and drag him to the nearest restaurant that I could find and I bring him over to the bar area and sit him down.”
She told him everything she now knew, and he didn’t try to deny it.
“For the next 30 minutes, he proceeded to tell me everything that he thought I wanted to hear and I was just numb.”
That’s when she delivered her iconic line.
“The only words that I could muster up at that point were, ‘Baby, this two carat diamond ring? It’s just not going to be enough.’”
In a follow up clip, she revealed that she stayed with her fiancé for a while because she needed time to process what happened and assess all the details.
Ultimately, however, she broke it off and has since gone to therapy.
Viewers couldn’t believe his audacity and applauded her reaction.
“You’re so mature for not exposing him in front of everyone, because I would,” one wrote.
“I love the, ‘It’s over because I’m getting engaged,’ as if the rest of the relationship didn’t matter,” added another, speaking about his break up with the mistress.
“The way I would have made this known ON THE BIG SCREEN,” a third admitted.
