Nothing could prepare fans for the gory scenes in round four
AN MMA bout ended in gruesome fashion as a fighter's ear EXPLODED and was left hanging off.
St Petersberg in Russia played host to the ACA welterweight grand prix, with Edil Esengulov and Vinicius Cruz in action.

But, in round four, no one could prepare fans for the gory scenes when Esengulov burst the ear of Cruz.
Esengulov was on top of Cruz laying down some strikes when he elbowed his opponent.
Astonishingly, Cruz's ear then burst completely with blood shed across the cage.
His ear was left hanging off leaving the doctor and referee no choice but to award Esengulov the stoppage victory.

It left fans stunned as one said: "I never want to see this again."
Another added: "Yeah, that's a bad one."
One commented: "So you want to be a fighter?"

Fans were also in disbelief that Cruz was pleading to fight on as one said: "He wanted to continue?!"
