Floods have taken place on the roads and that had led to immense traffic.

There is a worry regarding the state of the pitch at Ali Sami Yen as it has taken a lot of water throughout the course of the day due to relentless rain.

UEFA and match officials will be making the required checks and inspections before kick-off.

Buruk is also hoping Abdulkerim Bardakci will also be fit after dealing with a knock.

If Bardakci does not pass his late fitness test, Victor Nelsson would be in line to start at centre-back.

  • Rio Ferdinand speaks out

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand spoke out after being taken ill on Tuesday.

Ferdinand attached a video of sports broadcaster Darren Fletcher and himself riding through the airport in Paris heading for their flight to Istanbul to cover United's clash with Galatasaray.

And again the legendary defender reassured fans that he would not miss tonight's Champions League clash.

I almost didn't make this flight man. I almost didn't make this game.

But it's Manchester United in Istanbul I had to be here.

  • Alejandro Garnacho celebrations

Manchester United fans have spotted what Scott McTominay did during Alejandro Garnacho's goal celebrations against Everton.

Garnacho's stunning overhead kick set United on their way to a 3-0 win at Goodison Park on Sunday.

The winger celebrated the goal in front of the Toffees' fans before being mobbed by his team-mates.

Supporters have now noticed McTominay appearing to encourage the Argentina international to rile up the home end.

Footage of the Red Devils' players celebrating shows the midfielder talking to Garnacho and pointing to the crowd.

The 19-year-old then turns to gesture towards the stands as McTominay jogs back towards the centre circle.

  • Get it Don

Manchester United outcast Donny van de Beek has revealed a transfer exit during the summer collapsed "at the last minute".

Van de Beek was close to joining Real Sociedad but talks broke down forcing him to stay at Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old has played just 21 minutes of action for Erik ten Hag's side this season.

I was close to going to Real Sociedad, but at the last minute, the clubs could not reach an agreement.

  • Alejandro Garnacho tattoo

Prison Break star Dominic Purcell said he is "humbled" to be tattooed on Manchester United ace Alejandro Garnacho but cheekily asked him to join rivals Liverpool.

Purcell shared a post of Garnacho's overhead kick against Everton and captioned it: "Well if my face - let’s be real Lincoln Burrows' face - is tattooed on someone, I’m humbled it's yours.

"Can I dare say I was there by default when Alejandro scored one of the greatest goals ever witnessed in the English Premier League.

"Congrats to you son and Manchester United fans. What a beautiful moment. Any chance of a transfer to Liverpool?"

  • Not gone to plan

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has claimed he was told the club only signed Sofyan Amrabat due to the injury of Kobbie Mainoo.

I’d heard earlier on in the season because I’m like everybody else I’m asking 'What’s going on? Why are we not signing a player in midfield?' And it was told to me that if Mainoo stays fit then they won’t sign another midfield player.

Mainoo obviously got injured with the ankle injury and then all of a sudden Amrabat came back onto the table. But they weren’t going to sign another player.

They were looking at Mainoo as being the solution and I was like [puffs cheeks]. That’s a lot of faith to put into a young player from Erik ten Hag but I can see why in those 70 minutes we watched.

I was disappointed when he went off but you can’t criticise Ten Hag for bringing off a young player and putting some experience on but there was still something in the game, United hadn’t got a third by that point.

He was still the best player on the pitch. Mainoo was United’s best player throughout the game and mostly throughout that period that United were drifting and went asleep.

  • Man Utd's four targets

Manchester United are in the market to sign four players in the January transfer window.

According to The Guardian, Ten Hag is now considering a number of acquisitions in the winter market.

One of those is RB Leipzig star Timo Werner, who could be set for a shock return to England after a failed spell at Chelsea.

Nice ace Jean-Clair Todibo is another who has been mooted as a target, although Tottenham and Liverpool are also monitoring the defender.

Benfica's Antonio Silva and Monaco's Youssouf Fofana are also being eyed up by Ten Hag.

  • Go with the Flo

Manchester United are monitoring the transfer situation around Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz.

Wirtz has captured the attention of Europe's elite footballing institutions including Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

However, the attacking midfielder is also being tracked by United, according to Sky Sports in Germany.

The report adds the Manchester giants' scouting team have cast an eye on the 20-year-old.

There is said to have been no contact with the player's family or any sort of offer made.

The report suggests Wirtz is top of Bayern Munich's transfer wish list.

  • Rio Ferdinand breaker

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand was forced to pull out of TNT Sports' Champions League coverage on Tuesday after falling ill.

Ferdinand was part of the coverage alongside Laura Woods, Jermaine Jenas and Shay Given for Newcastle's clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

However, having provided insight before the match and at half-time, the legendary defender was absent after the game with TNT confirming he had left due to "unforeseen circumstances".

According to The Daily Mail, the former England international was taken ill during the match and subsequently returned to his hotel to rest.

The 45-year-old is now understood to be feeling better and will return to screens tonight to cover United's Champions League match against Galatasaray.

Rangers legend Ally McCoist stepped in for the ex-Leeds star at full-time after commentating on Newcastle's 1-1 draw with PSG.

  • Ratcliffe takeover delay

Sir Jim Ratcliffe's investment into Manchester United has caused frustration for many waiting for the long-awaited announcement.

Though a new possible date for Ratcliffe's 25 per cent takeover has been revealed.

There had been suggestions a deal would be completed by now, but with no announcement yet the Thanksgiving holiday is likely the cause of the extended delay.

But the New York Stock Exchange has reopened after the American holiday.

When the Exchange is closed no substantial business takes place.

A report from inews claims there were “no issues of substance” in the United deal worth £1.3billion.

  • Victor Osimhen bidding war

Chelsea could launch a bid to sign Napoli superstar and Manchester United target Victor Osimhen in January.

Osimhen is understood to be at the top of the Blues’ owner Todd Boehly’s wishlist ahead of the winter market.

The West Londoners are in desperate need of a centre-forward as they look to improve on last season’s disappointing campaign.

And according to talkSPORT, Chelsea may make a move for the in-form Nigeria international.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team has been given an indication that the 24-year-old could be made available in January.

However, the Partenopei will likely demand £120million for Osimhen, who has also been linked with Arsenal and United.

  • Mason Greenwood targeted

Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood is set to find himself at the centre of Spanish summer transfer flurry, The Sun can reveal.

Valencia and Real Sociedad are both “monitoring” Greenwood and could be poised to make a move in the summer while Getafe, where Greenwood plays on loan, are also keen.

Mason has done brilliantly since he moved to Spain and is really catching the eye after a strong start to his time at Getafe. There are a number of clubs looking at him in Spain with scouts from Valencia and Sociedad seemingly at the front of the queue.

It is highly unlikely Mason will return to Manchester United. That ship has sailed, and he looks set to enjoy the next phase of his career in Spain where he has really settled and found his feet both personally and professionally.

He owes a huge debt to Getafe for the help and support they have given him, and it’s possible he could make his move there permanent at the end of the season.

But if he carries on playing like he is, other bids and offers are likely to come in, leaving Mason, and the club, with a decision to make. After a very difficult year or so Mason feels like his career is on the up.

  • Werner snubs Manchester United

RB Leipzig star Timo Werner has snubbed a January move to Manchester United.

Werner has emerged as a surprise transfer target for United who are looking for attacking reinforcement.

However, Sky in Germany report the striker is prepared to stay at Leipzig and fight for his place instead of moving to Old Trafford.

The Germany international has been limited to just four starts for the Bundesliga giants so far this season, scoring two goals along the way.

  • United join race for wonderkid

Man United and Arsenal have made enquiries about Gabriel Moscardo, according to reports.

The two Premier League giants have joined Chelsea in the battle to sign the Brazilian wonderkid.

Moscardo is said to be valued at £26million by Corinthians, who tied him down to a new three-year deal earlier this year.

The report suggests Wirtz is top of Bayern Munich's transfer wish list.

  • Mainoo 'not scared'

Erik ten Hag has hinted that Kobiie Mainoo could make his Champions League debut against Galatasaray tonight.

The Dutch manager is not concerned about the hostile atmosphere and insists that Mainoo will have "no fear".

He said: “We don’t have fear. If players are good enough, then they are old enough.”
