A WOMAN has revealed how much money she makes per delivery as an Uber Eats driver and has left many open-mouthed.

Karyna Diaz, a mother from Las Vegas, explained that she made over £100 in a day delivering people’s takeaways.

As a result, she has hailed it the ‘perfect side hustle for stay at home mums’.

Karyna took to social media to document a day in her life as an Uber Eats delivery driver, as she shared a clip with the caption ‘See how much I make, perfect side hustle as a SAHM.’

She then said: “Come with me today to see how much money we can make doing Uber Eats orders.

“I already picked up my first order. This one's from Chick-fil-A. This one's $7 [£5.50] for only three miles.

“Just got my second order. This one's from The Bar. It's $8 [£6.30] for two miles away.

“Just got another order. This one is from Egg Works. This is paying $10 [£7.88] for three miles.

“Just got an order from Einstein Bros. This one is $7 [£5.50] for two miles away.

“Just picked up a Taco Bell order. This one is $8 [£6.30] for two miles. 

“7/11 order. This one was $5 [£3.94] for just one mile."

Karyna then had a quick break, before carrying on with her orders, as she continued: “Hey guys, a little break. I just picked up some Starbucks and I'm really freaking happy right now.

“Next order is actually from Tacotarian. There are two big bags. [They are] paying $17 [£13.39] for six miles.”

Karyna later confirmed that in total, she made $172 [£135.50]. 

She also revealed: “I went for seven hours in a rich area and only accepted higher orders.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @karynadiazz, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed a staggering 1.2 million views.

Social media users were eager to know more about what it’s really like being an Uber Eats driver - as many took to the comments to ask for more information.

One person said: “You should add how much gas you lose. I remember one of my Uber drivers saying how they have to spend more than they make.”

In response, Karyna wrote: “I spent $25 [£19.69] on gas to work this day.” 

Another added: “How does it work? Do you make whatever the ORDER costs? Or do you only get what they give in tip?”

Karyna then confirmed: “Whatever price the order pops up for on your phone you get that amount. Which includes the base pay and tip.” 

A third commented: “What do you need to work on Uber eats??”

The mother explained: “Just apply my love! It takes about a day for approval but a car and drivers licence.”
