THOUSANDS of drivers are bracing for a rise in car insurance, with 10 jobs set to see premiums soar.
The industry you work in can have a surprisingly large impact on how much you pay for your policy, according to data from Vanarama.
Some workers could see several hundreds of pounds added onto their bills from next year.
The study revealed that graphic designers were set to see the largest spike, with an average increase of £283.16.
Mechanics, who have traditionally been hit with some of the highest premiums around, are second on the list with a predicted hit of £274.82.
Likewise, professional drivers could see bills go up by around £232.

The tech sector is also expected to be stung, with web developers, web designers and programmers all in the top 10.
And, sadly for The Sun's motors section, journalists rounded out that list with an average increase of £202.44.
The figures suggest that insurance companies consider these professions to be high risk in terms of claims.
Some are obviously so, with people who drive or deal with cars for a living more likely to be involved in an accident just by virtue of the amount of time they spend on the road.

However, why web developers or graphic designers are on there is a little more of a mystery.
Perhaps worst of all, tradespeople, who are among those hit hardest by the cost of living crisis, could see fresh woe in the form of a £269.88 bump in their costs.
However, it seems nobody will have it easy as Vanerama's team expects a significant increase in insurance costs across the board.
A spokesperson said: "Stepping back and examining the anticipated insurance premium increases on an individual job basis reveals that, on the whole, the United Kingdom will experience a substantial 42% spike in insurance costs in 2024 compared to the previous year.
"The average cost of UK car insurance in 2024 is now £613.91 per year – an 81% increase on 2020's figure, £339.16."
It comes after a car dealer revealed the exact date to get the best deal on a new motor.
Meanwhile, drivers were warned of thousands of fake car ads flooding Facebook Marketplace.
